About the Charter Fishing Trips

It's all about the love of fishing and being out on the water. I am a professional fulltime fishing guides who know the bay as well as the fish that live in it. I get a lot of satisfaction by sharing my knowledge and experience to help others enjoy the sport of fishing.

What, Where & How

I guide fishing trips in the Laguna Madre for Reds, Trout, Snook, Flounder, Black Drum, and near shore in the Gulf for Ling, Kingfish, and Tarpon.

Fishing trips can be tailored to any type of fishing you would like. Drift Fishing, Wade Fishing, Fly Fishing, or Bottom Fishing.

I will take the bait, lures and tackle that will be best suited for the wind, weather, season and tide conditions on the day of your trip. My boat is equipped with enough tackle and bait to accommodate any fishing conditions, any time of year. If you want to fish a specific area or target a special species let me know ahead of time so I can outfit the boat accordingly. You are welcome to bring your own rod and reel, tackle and lures if you want. All my gear is well maintained in good condition and ready to go fishing.

Your charter will include all the tackle, lures, bait and fishing gear you will need to effectively fish for all the saltwater game fish found in the bay and offshore.

The boat can comfortably accommodate up to three people fishing but can handle up to four. Groups or families with children are always welcomed. I like to see children learn to cast and catch their own fish for the first time. These are often the most memorable fishing trips.

What to Bring

Everyone fishing will need a valid ID and Texas Saltwater fishing license. You should wear non-skid shoes, have a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses. Polarized sunglasses will enable you to see the fish easier. You can also bring some drinks and snacks and put them in my dedicated drink box to help prevent unneeded clutter on the boat. I will supply the ice chest and ice. It is also suggested to bring along another small ice chest to remain in your vehicle until after the trip to take your fish home in. If you have a short trip back to your condo or hotel, then a ice chest is probably not needed.
