ABOUT YOUR FISHING TRIP
For me, It's all about the love of fishing and being out on the water. I am a professional fulltime fishing guides who knows the Gulf and the bay as well as the fish that live in it. I get a lot of satisfaction by sharing my knowledge and experience to help others enjoy the sport of fishing.
WHAT, WHERE, AND HOW
I guide fishing trips offshore in the Gulf of Mexico for anything from Kingfish to Blue Marlin and in the Lower Laguna Madre for Trout, Redfish and Flounder.
Both of my boats are equipped with enough tackle and bait to accommodate any fishing condition, any time of the year. If you want to fish for a specific species of fish please let me know ahead of time so I can outfit the boat accordingly. All my gear is bought new yearly and is well maintained in good condition and ready to go fishing. All rods, bait and tackle are included in the trip.
Groups or families with children are always welcomed. I like to see children learn to cast and catch their own fish for the first time. These are often the most memorable fishing trips.
WHAT TO BRING
Everyone fishing, 17 years of age and over, will need a valid ID and Texas Saltwater fishing license. Its suggested you wear non-skid shoes, have a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses. Polarized sunglasses help cut the glare on the water and sometime allow you to see the fish in the water a lot easier. You can also bring some drinks and snacks and put them in my dedicated drink box to help prevent unneeded clutter on the boat. I will supply the ice chest and ice. It is also suggested to bring along a small ice chest to remain in your vehicle until after the trip to take your fish home in. If you have a short trip back to your condo or hotel, then a ice chest is probably not needed.
