My favorite fishing activities is catching tarpon. The tarpon are fierce, acrobatic fighters that have amazing amounts of power and endurance. Fighting a big tarpon is such an awesome experience that one is always thrilled no matter how many you have caught before. June through October is the most anticipated time of year when schools of big tarpon are making there way in around the jetties. I offer some of the best tarpon fishing excursions around South Padre and Port Isabel area because fishing for big tarpon is my passion.
